About Our Scholarship Program

The LULAC Council 10 Scholarship Program has been a cornerstone of our organization since 1959. Under the visionary leadership of President Michael Reyes, our scholarship awards have increased by 500% since 2007, reflecting our unwavering commitment to educational advancement.

We believe that education is the key to breaking barriers and creating opportunities. Our scholarship recipients become leaders in their communities, carrying forward the values of service, excellence, and cultural pride that define LULAC.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a high school senior or college student
  • Demonstrate academic excellence with minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Show financial need through FAFSA documentation
  • Demonstrate community involvement and leadership
  • Submit a personal essay outlining educational and career goals
  • Provide two letters of recommendation
  • Be a resident of the Quad Cities area
How to Apply

The 2025-2026 LULAC 10 Scholarship is now closed. Students who applied were contacted with our decision by May 7th.
